Kitty O`Sheas in Washington DC

A great find! We were there on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. Donegal chips were a perfect snack.

Atmosphere and drinks are ok, but the nachos were so disappointing— soggy, lacking in any flavor and a distressing presentation. Even for an Irish bar, get the basic bar food right.

One of the best neighborhood bars in NW DC. This is a beer + shot kind of place. In a different town, cops & fireman would frequent it. Nights can fill up with college kids, because the prices are great. Staff is pleasant & outgoing, in a dive bar sort of way. Recommended.

I grew up in DC but now live in Philly. This is a true dive bar in DC, a dying bread. Always has good service and stiff drinks (at a decent price). All and all, i would definitely reccommend.

Barkeep Amy was super-great. Was looking for a late-night drinks place near Friendship Heights and this was the [expletive] place. So effing good.

Kitty O'Shea's is a Tenleytown/AU Park mainstay. I'd be sad without it. The burgers are reasonably good.

Chill staff great crowd excellent little dive bar

We were practically the only customers in the place and food took over an hour. The food was also mediocre at best.

Watered down drinks and lazy service. We came here once for brunch and again for. Happy hour. Location is all they have going for them. Such a shame, could be a great neighborhood joint

modest neighborhood watering hole... people are super nice and you get a great value for northwest dc... it's a little bit hidden yet worth giving a shot

I want corned beef and cabbage was really tasty and so where the fries with the curry sauce. Being Saint Patrick's Day it was packed.

Awesome staff. Friendly crowd. A bar couldn't be more welcoming. Definitely a spot to hit.

A Tenleytown pub featuring traditional Irish fare. It's not large, but you can generally get a table, unless it's St. Patrick's Day, or there's a big game on. Many people don't know they serve a decent weekend brunch. There's also outdoor patio seating in nice weather.

Place could use an update. Food was acceptable but not exceptional. Not much by pub standards. Corned beef and cabbage was ok. Mashed potatoes were most likely made from flakes. Suitable port in a storm but any port is suitable in a storm.

Not for everyone this bar is a true no frills bar. Excellent bartenders and atmosphere. Happy prices are best in city. Great place to read a book in the afternoon and enjoy a pint

I love this bar. Nothing shouts good times good people and great service more than kitty o sheas. Not great for a large food selection but a great place for a couple drinks. I recommend this place highly

Nice spot for beers after work. Solid pub food: burgers, fish and chips, etc.

My first time there was ok, but when I asked for a shot I found 2 gnats in my shot glass before finishing my drink.
